Countrywide tour of Belize’s Crown Jewel, the Jade Head


The Institute of Archaeology, National Institute of Culture and History invites the General Public to view the new Jade Head Exhibition Tour. 


This new exhibition will feature the famous Jade Head, a representation of the Maya Sun God, Kinich Ahau, the largest carved jade artifact ever recovered in the entire Maya area.


The Jade Head will be making appearances in all districts for one day only and will be free of cost to all.

Wednesday, February 24th,2010 St. Peter Claver Parish Hall,Punta Gorda   9:00am-2:00pm

Monday, March 1st,2010  Banquitas House of Culture, Orange Walk   10:00am-3:00pm

Tuesday, March 2nd,2010  Corozal Cultural Center,Corozal    9:00am-3:00pm
