This research paper was written by three Students from Galen University who participated in the 2nd Annual Tertiary Level Research Competition on May 5th,2011. Their paper was produced in response to this year's theme "Social Cohesion in Belize's Multi-Cultural Context since Independence."  The paper explored the Creole language as the unifying factor for the promotion of Social Cohesion amongst various ethnic groups in the Belize. 
This documents comprises of short biographical information on several of Belize's Heroes and Benefactor: George Price, Philip Goldson, Baron Bliss, Cleopatra White, Samuel Haynes, Nicholas Pollard Sr. , Julian Cho, Gwendolyn Lizarraga, Santiago Ricalde, T.V. Ramos & Antonio Soberanis

As the primary institution responsible for supervising all social, cultural and historical research in Belize, all interested researchers must submit a research application to ISCR in order to conduct research in Belize. Research applications will be reviewed and approved/ not approved by the Director of ISCR and should be emailed to  iscr@nichbelize.org.
