The National Institute of Culture and History through its Institute of Creative Arts (ICA) announces the launch of its annual “Women in Art Exhibit”.
Each year in March in accordance with the celebration of a month long activity to celebrate the women of Belize, the Institute of Creative Arts puts together a one of a kind showcase. This year the exhibit will celebrate the work of twenty (20) women.

It features art pieces ranging from paintings, to handicraft, jewelry, poetry and even assemblages all creatively displayed by curator Brihida Haylock.
The exhibit opens on Wednesday March12th at 6:00 p.m. a special feature of the opening will be a performance showcase entitled, 'Evolution of the Belizean Wombman". It includes music, dance, and drama, an enchanting piece produced by Miryam Abul-Quwiyy. Another special feature will be a culinary display and sampling by Chef India from the ‘Back to Live’ café.

The exhibit opens at the Belisle Art Gallery housed inside the Bliss Centre for the Performing Arts, and runs until the end of March.
