Cerro Maya

$5.00 - $15.00

The site of Cerro Maya is located on the southeastern end of the Corozal Bay. The is notable as being part of an important coastal trading network that linked the New River to the Chetumal Bay.  Archaeological research also suggests that the site’s architecture served as an astronomical observatory.
