This site is located in the northwestern part of modern Corozal Town in the Corozal District.  Although only a few structures within the site core remain visible, the archaeological record suggests that the site was a thriving Postclassic community aptly situated to serve as a trade and communication center.

Opening Hours:
Open every day, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, including on Sundays and Public & Bank holidays
*Last Tour for the day: One (1) hour before closing*

For Visitor Safety:

  • Wear outdoor-appropriate footwear for rugged terrain
  • Remain on demarcated trails
  • Use handrails where provided
  • No loud noise, shouting or music permitted
  • No jumping permitted on monuments
  • Maximum of 15 visitors allowed per Tour Guide
