Quick Facts: Xunantunich is one of the oldest archaeological parks in the country. The largest pyramid,  known as “El Castillo”, stands 130 feet tall and provides a panoramic view of the surrounding  countryside. This site also contains the remains of remarkable stucco frieze on the east and west side of  structure A-6.
